A little while back, I asked a question on social media for my readers to share their favorite knit and crochet pumpkin patterns for fall. And boy, did everyone come through! I’ve pulled the individual suggestions and collected them here so you have 10 gorgeous patterns at your fingertips. I hope you pick a few you like, and enjoy the glory of texture and color that is Fall!

The Pumpkin Patterns Collection
The first few pumpkin patterns are worked up in crochet in a variety of ribbed patterns. To be honest, I’m a bigger fan of knit ribbing than I am of crochet ribbing, but crochet ribbing looks pretty good when made into yarn pumpkins.
If you are truly a knit ribbing aficionado, try this Tunisian Crochet ribbed pumpkin. The Tunisian knit stitch makes it look truly knit, doesn’t it?

Little Rustic Pumpkin from Yarn and Chai
Easy Ribbed Crochet Pumpkin from 5 Little Monsters
Ribbed Crochet Pumpkin from Meg Made With Love
Crochet Country Pumpkins from Sewrella
Pumpkin Amigurumi from StringyDingDing – This free pattern is a little different from the rest, but hey, sometimes the mini pumpkins are the best. For amigurumi, it’s best to use yarn that is worsted weight or thinner, so that the details still shine through.
Next up are a few knit pumpkins, worked both up and down as well as sideways!
Chunky Pumpkin from Mama In a Stitch
Knit Pumpkins from Debrosse
Velvet Knit Pumpkin from Hooked on Tilly
The two patterns below are paid patterns that can be found on Ravelry and Etsy, respectively.

Bonus Pattern
Here’s a crochet pumpkin planter I made a few years back, to hold succulents for a table setting!
